Our founder, James Cottee, is an experienced secondary school teacher, with over 9 years in the classroom teaching a range of qualifications within the Computing umbrella.
I have taught across a range of qualifications and specifications including GCSE Computer Science, Cambridge Nationals in IT, A Level Computer Science and Cambridge Technical in IT. I am also an experienced examiner for OCR specifications, and has been an assessor for both GCSE and A Level Computer Science, along with a moderator for the Cambridge Nationals in IT for over 3 years.
Whilst my passion in life is teaching, I am also a massive sport lover. In my spare time I am part of the local football club committee, supporting with administration tasks such as registrations, FA affiliations and safeguarding. If I am not at a football fixture or coaching young people, I can be found on the padel court! For those that haven't tried it, be careful, it's rather addictive!
My main aim of setting this company up is to provide high quality teaching material and revision resources for all students and teachers, and support teacher workload. I know that we all want the best for our students, but do not necessarily get the time to produce outstanding resources. I want to be able to support all Computing teacher across the world, whether that is to provide the foundations of lesson plans and materials, or consultancy work to deliver on their specific needs.
